Lemon yellow.  Interior to the outsized Saint-Véran.  Translucent and woodsy, like tree bark after the summer rain.  Gets to that deep-within-the-apple place that reminds me of Chenin.  Silver and sorrel with something savory, like fine-ground almonds, percolating underneath.  The finish is corseted in flint.  Now.
