Tulip yellow.  The antonym to the good-natured ’13, you have to coax its big internal richness from a tomb of parrafin.  Emerges on the palate as a complex chord of schist, quince and dried flowers.  Analytically the highest acidity of these three vintages, cut with the zip of a lime.  Now – 2024.
