82% Pinot Noir from Mareuil-sur-Aÿ, Avenay Val d’Or and Bisseuil with 18% Mareuil Chardonnay. Over half the blend is reserve wines of 2013 (32%) and 2012 (21%) with base vintage 2014 (47%). Disgorged August 2016. Dosage 7 g/l.

Yellow-gold.  Pound cake and sweet straw and just a whiff of the earth floor from the Grande Vallée.  A gratifying flux of fresh red fruit whose resinous elements are nicely covered in sweetness and woven into the wine’s tightly-knit fabric.  Now – 2024.
