Imported by David Bowler Wine, New York NY.
From old vines on estate vineyards in Oiry (10%), Chouilly (30%), and Cramant (60%) in the Côte des Blancs. 65% 2008 vintage, 35% reserve wines. Dosage: 3 g/l. Aged on the lees for at least four years. Bottled with a lower pressure than the estate’s non-vintage — four bars of pressure instead of the normal six.
Yellow-gold. Smells like a health scrub with a woodruff-like charred-leaf smokiness. In the mouth this is silky texturally with a vibrant depth of mutsu and citrus fruit. At once generous in body and streamlined in shape, it allies the incisive minerality of the Côte des Blancs with sheer delicious appeal. Now – 2025+.
