Boston Wine Company, Somerville MA.
From magnum.
Yellow-gold. Once past a whiff of reduction this ’07 is round and almost fluffy, toasted corn and canned peach and quite wildly herbal – tansy, lovage and nettles – all of which sound very tart but the wine is like cashmere and velour. Finishes with great mineral purity and articulation, as there is very little topsoil here. An original wine, and soulful. Now.
