Primrose. Like the BEST white darjeeling. There’s some ash and metallic reduction to the aroma along with lemon curd, almond and tarragon. The palate is dense, deeply flavored and almost meaty, like veal demi-glace with a drop of meyer lemon concentrate. The finish is long and saline and articulates the incisive minerality of this silicious, iron-rich site. Now – 2030+.
