75% Pinot Noir, 20% Chardonnay and 5% Meunier from the Petite Montagne. 2014 vintage plus 50% reserve wine (35% from the previous two harvests and 15% from the solera that Louis started in 2010). Disgorged December 2018. Dosage: 9 g/l.

Yellow-gold. Toasted nut and faro elements, black cherry and mead. The combination of these dark shadings with inner-mouth floral high-tones strike me as typifying Ecueil. Now.
