95% Pinot Noir and 5% Pinot Gris, from three sirloin parcels in Vertus. All 2014 vintage. After short maceration, raised in steel and concrete egg. Aged on the lees for one year and in bottle for two. Disgorgement: April 2017. Dosage: 3 g/l.

Crimson. Cardamom, mint, and oleander beautifully accent the wine’s ripe red berry fruit. Decadent autumn foliage and a lick of rusty cask stave hint at the vinous leviathan underneath. The finish is ringently intense. Now – 2025+.
