Crimson. Red fruits in a powder sprinkled over iron fillings and bone broth. Stands tall in the glass and so the inference turns to solitary, ancient and rusty redwood. Now – 2030+.

Crimson. Expressive and classy on the nose: a pure, fresh basket of red berry fruit. Nuanced touches of game, oleander, allspice and smoke. On the palate, medium-full body, both intense and defined: citrus peel, rose hips and a still mentholated cherry. Sinewy athletic like many of the Jadot grand crus; this one is a distance runner. Fine-grained, forward tannins. Definitive grip. Long and articulate stone minéralité at the end. A Corton with breed and finesse. Now – 2025+.
