Yellow-gold. Opens as a springtime profusion of leafing and flowering things imposed over sea breeze. Shows good Chouilly palate impression through the middle to back half, its toasted grain and crackling citrus flavors poised on a knife’s edge, with the nose-prickling spice from some exotic orchid. The finish is a fondue of hops and belemnite chalk. Now – 2025+.
