Bernard Baudry, Chinon Blanc La Croix Boissée 2014

Kermit Lynch Wine Merchant, Berkeley CA.

Yellow-gold. The bouquet is magnetically pretty yet with a tactile malic complexity. Melisse, sumac, pistachio, shortbread biscuit and the usual yellow apple. The palate is juicy, quince-y, more overtly mineral than usual, and the finish crescendos into a salty tide that clings. Now – 2025.
