Olek-Mery, Chinon Cuvée des Tireaux 2012

Ten years on.

Crimson. It is more square in shape than the ’10. Carnations and alfalfa hay, garrigue and carburant. The palate brings clarity in a limpid strike of fruit, where the flavor runs to scarlet rosehips. Shows good Chinon content as it closes. The finish is organic like potting soil, brings a little nutty tannin. Now – 2027.
