Made from the oldest Chenin Blanc on the property, averaging just over 80 years old, planted on a free-draining terroir of sandy shale soils. From shy-bearing vines – yielding only 20hl/ha – and after a strict selection in the vineyard and cellar, this cuvée is fermented in sandstone amphorae by indigenous yeast then aged for 12 months in clay amphorae.

Yellow-gold. Delivers sustained and slightly resinous tones as counterpoint to the vintage-typical sense of citrus. It gleams its tonality, while still holding alot of inner core content in reserve. Greengages, hazelnut and malt; meadow flowers, sage dust, and rhododendron honey. The finish flows on fine notes of mineral freshness. Now – 2027+.
