Domaine Sebastien Dampt, Chablis Les Beugnons 1er Cru 2015

In color this is more yellow than green. From a subsection in Vaillons and raised in concrete egg. There’s great style and dimension in the bouquet, a cox orange pippin, peach fuzz, musky narcissus, and tidal pool ensemble. The palate hold fufilling juice, cashes the comparatively opulent check the nose has written. It manages to be both invigoratingly alert and semi-solid dense all at the same time, and ends with a lasting, mineral-toned depth. Now – 2025+.
