Thirty five years on.
Orange-gold. The bouquet illustrates the striking combination of mineral and nobly sweet characteristics that were possible in this vintage. It brings forward aniseed, rhododendron honey, smoky dried fruits, moss and algae-covered cistern, serville orange. The palate is rather constructed, bears fat, sustains with a depth of ripe content and late harvest flavors. Turns dry and cyanic on the finish, where the associations turn to peach pit and cynar.
