Domaine François Raveneau, Chablis Chapelot 1er Cru 1999

Twenty five years on.

Yellow-gold. The nose is aromatic, with a mineral frame, seabreeze, dried white florals, honeycomb, candle wax, oxy overtones of brazil nut and sel gris. The palate is golden and pez concentrated, sugar stick with sea salt counterpoint, lemon apple pear. Oyster shell and crustacean finish. Age has added complexity and some refinement. Last bottle on a case. Now.
