Imported by Paul M. Young Fine Wines, Los Angeles CA.
Five years on.
2.5 h/a across nine parcels, 50-year-old vines, semi-carbonic maceration before four months in wooden vats (of which 30% are burgundy barrels from Chablis).
Fullish ruby. A shimmery expression of Moulin-à-Vent’s powdery, purple iridescence, with lusty flavors of iris, game, musky spice, dark-skinned plum, cherry and grape. Buoyant for a wine so lush, a reflection of the pink granite terroir. Will still improve. Now – 2020+.
