3/4 PN, 1/4 Chardonnay from estate grand cru vineyards in Bouzy.  2008 base vintage plus twenty percent reserve wines (2007).  Aged five years on the lees.  Dosage: 7 g/l.

Yellow-gold.  The sweetest fragrance since the ’02 base version: dough and white iris and the fat of the clean lees.  Sappy, bold presence of berry flavors.  The finish clings the way bacon smell clings in the kitchen after it’s done cooking.  Now – 2020.
