From Chenin vines grown in argilo-calcaire from Montreuil-Bellay, Brézé,and Bizay. Planted and replaced from 1935 to 2008.

Tulip yellow.   Flowers and herbs and then leaves, crusty and urgent.  Unfolds as a layering of pristine malic fruit, anchored by significant acidity.  Then a foamy wave of limestone minerality.  Now – 2025+.
