Lemon yellow, touch of gold. The ground here is sand and silex over pink calcaire and the wine has a pronounced ‘muscat grape-meets-lychee’ flavor. As the tropical opulence emerges it seems to foam over the rim, and the solid power of these hundred year old vines is nearly overwhelming. The finish is long and like chewing on elder blossom. Now – 2024+.
