Domaine Dichon, Moulin-à-Vent Cuvée Vieilles Vignes 2015

Kermit Lynch Wine Merchant, Berkeley CA.

Ruby. An air of wild plum mixes with bay leaf and thyme, a second layer of raspberry and licorice hovering. There is slight reduction. The palate offers a generous roll of black fruits with trim tannins that develop darkness as it finishes. It has good heart, and there is strength through the finale. This shows the minerality of Moulin-à-Vent along its second half, a granite seam which is authentic. Now – 2030+.
