Egon Müller, Auction Scharzhofberger Riesling Kabinett #6 Saar 2001

This is AP 06 02. Released via the VDP Trier Auction in 2002.

Full yellow. On the nose this is still dense, a mix of sultry and elegant. Smoke-slate influences and tangy white fruits appear, and a glossy white florality. The palate is well-textured with primo grip, holds a proper fullness that is delivered with articulation. This is serious table wine, with concentration and freshness. Long and assured at the end, with a candied citrus angle as it closes. Now – 2030+.
