Domaine Prieur-Brunet, Meursault Les Charmes 1er Cru 2014

Ten years on.

From magnum.

Tulip yellow.  Ripe citrus on top of white fruit, with oak-vanilla, spring flowers, a hazelnut richness, a nibble of herbs.  On the palate a saline touch, very Charmes in character, with good weight, purity of flavor, and a crunch of acidity. Slow grip on the finish, its tang in evidence there, with a mineral, grounded aspect. Now – 2030.
