Maison Pierre Bourée et Fils, Gevrey-Chambertin Les Cazetiers 1er Cru 1999

Twenty five years on.

Carmine. Some animal tone, plus an earthy side, backed by a good black cherry presence. The palate goes straight for a silvery aspect, no more than medium weight, with a white pepper grain. Air rounds the finish and brings out ripe tones and its Cazetiers site trail. This is still upright in shape, with savory moments on the end. Now.
