Domaine Dujac, Clos Saint-Denis Grand Cru 1990

Thirty five years on.

Fox red. The nose has a graceful top, shows an ashy, laurel tone from the stems, with elegance center stage. The palate is intricate, wild plum and red currant fruit with floral touches, périgord themes, meat-blood nudges. It nourishes well, persists with some flair, and ends on the up, black tea leaves and mineral tones. Now – 2030+.
