Fifteen years on.
Yellow-green. Initially marked by a touch of reduction, this wine quickly opens to reveal a rich, layered profile. Hazelwood, honey blossom, ripe apple, pear, and wet stone character, shows impressive concentration and depth, with a sense of real ripeness and almost sappy intensity. As it warms and gains air, the wine broadens on the palate, building volume without excess weight, while chalky, mineral textures and subtle salinity emerge. Acidity, initially less obvious, asserts itself on the back end, tightening the structure and driving a long, taut, and mineral finish. Drinking well now, has clear upside for further development. Now – 2040+.
