Fifteen-years on tasting.

Limpid garnet.  If the archetype for this terroir is sturdy and cherry-flavored then this is its antithesis, ethereal and trapeze-y, her floral bouquet heaven-sent, her groseille fruit tingly and buoyant.  Lithe lines, soaring energy, none of the consuming solemninity of so many of the ’99s.  Just enough humus and minerality to keep it grounded.  Doing great at age fifteen.  Now – 2019.
