Inaugural vintage for this cuvée.  From chalky soils in Couchey, which borders Marsannay to the south; the vines march with Champs Perdrix.

A ruby with gloss, paling rim.   His tannins now resolved, there’s an unfettered breeziness to him now, crunchy groseille and shoot smoke with a focused substratum of stone underneath.  Vibrant energy, shimmering style.  Roty wines keep well.  Now – 2018.
