Pale red. He’s intense without undue extraction, juxtaposing maturing fruit flavors with still firm structure. Ethereal scents of groseille, peony and earth, well-defined and piquant for vinous Pommard. The mineral finish is latticed and articulate with a touch of austerity. Give it three years; the tannins don’t need civilizing and much as further tapering. Now – 2025+.
