Bright ruby.  Less obvious fruit and a bit more subtlety than his ’95.  Firm and floral and focused.  Really gets the appetite going.  The finish is an emotive bridge, oolitic and iodine and surprisingly euphoric for Nuits.   Fine and still optimistic for his future.  Now – 2020+.
