October 2019
Base vintage 2012, disgorged July 2017.
Yellow-gold. Toast, nut and grain elements transform into walnut oil and buckwheat. The prominent red berry flavors persist with length and depth on the finish. Sumptuous, in keeping with the vintage. Now – 2025+.
December 2014
From grand and premier cru vineyards in Dizy, Hautvillers and Mareuil sur Aÿ in the Vallée de la Marne. 40% Meunier, 35% Chardonnay, 25% Pinot Noir. Base vintage 2009, 8% from 2008 and 8% from 2007. 34 months sur latte. Disgorgment: February 2013. Dosage: 8 g/l.
Yellow-gold. Corporeal now, with ’09 solidity and amplitude: lime-blossom, citrus succade, chantilly-cream. Bright autolysis flavors with swollen mid-palate thump, crisply defined. Finishes polished, snappy and dry. Seamless and admirable in its blend of richness and vivacity. Now – 2020+.
