Ruby. It’s a warm wall of cassis, cedar, and black flowers, a thick paste of it. The palate continues the theme of a pretty dense, filled wine which keeps going on the up, the flavor brings in a fluid liqueur of dark fruit, blueberry compote and blackberry jam, a bright streak of peony and spice. Grainy tannins and oily berry combine at the end. Very long and remarkably intense for its age. This will continue to develop well and emerge further. Now – 2050+.
