Crimson. Expressive Vosne aromatics lead the way: classic spice, earth, and red currant layered with subtle forest-floor nuance. The palate shows good depth, driven by bright, well-integrated acidity that keeps the generous ripe fruit detailed like the head of a pin. Savory and gently spicy elements add complexity, with a faint floral lift in the background. Texture is supple and smooth, rounded yet fresh, building seamlessly to a long, persistent finish. Drinking well now, still a bright future ahead, a complete Chaumes. Now – 2040+.
