Ruby. Aromatically expressive and classically proportioned, this wine presents a compelling interplay of lingering primary fruit and well-developed secondary nuance. The nose is notably perfumed and layered, offering dark red cherry framed by exotic spice, soy, incense, and a purple florality, with subtle accents of clove, black tea, bonfire smoke, and antique wood. On the palate, the wine is medium-bodied yet strikingly refined, with impressive clarity and a graceful, lifted freshness reminiscent of a cooler, elegant vintage profile. The texture is suave and quietly luxurious, supported by a structure that is clearly resolving, firm but mellowing tannins carrying the flavors toward a remarkably long, deep, and poised finish. With air, additional shades of damson plum and dark chocolate emerge, reinforcing both the wine’s regal balance and its evolving complexity. Beautifully elegant and drinking very well now, though still capable of further development. Now – 2040+.
