Straw color with a streak of emerald. Nervy, precise and ozonic on the nose: citrus zest, lily of the valley, sea spray, chalk dust, spicy lees reduction. Frothy and buoyant. Of modest lines on the palate, bracingly formed and well-delineated: crunchy mutsu apple, meyer lemon, kaffir lime. A lace of understated acidity and clean seashell minerality: this ’10 has already settled into its skin quite nicely. Wintery, stone cold finish. A quiet delicacy. Respectfully rendered Montmains. Now – 2016.
