Medium ruby. Soft and mature, with a dusty set of aromatics. Spicy blackberry and fig. A savory garrigue of native herb, piquant spice, blood, black tea. Tannin is resolved. Good acidity. Humble in scale and thus not all that concentrated or dimensional. Modest finish. Hale, expressive Languedoc. Can’t see a reason to hold this though. For drinking soon.
